Our interest in everything horror and science fiction began over 30 years ago, when we began to purchase first edition copies of books by our favorite authors, including Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft. It wasn't until years later that we realized the significance of our early collection. This collection of fine, first edition books in the horror, science fiction, fantasy and crime genres can now be found at Bloody Rare Books, where they may be purchased, or simply admired.

As our appetite for horror and science fiction grew, so too did our interest in other materials tied to the novels, including movie posters and original screenplays. Soon enough, we had amassed a substantial collection of original film posters from both American and international markets. You will notice that the vast majority of our posters are of films which had a U.S. theatrical release between the 1960's and 1990's. You will also notice that we carry a nice selection of foreign film art based on these U.S. films, including Polish, Czech and Japanese art.
